Domakonda fort is an ancient construction.There are mahadevuni temple and hanuman temple located inside the fort.Beautifully constructed with stones by the kamineni rulers.
Kamineni dynasty ruled this domakonda sansthan.Sri kamineni umapathi rao garu of this dynasty served as IAS officer to the governament of india.
Grand daughter of kamineni is sri kamineni upasana got married recently with tollywood hero mega power star sri konidela ramcharan teja who is son of megastar chiranjeevi.One of the event of their marriage ceremony celebrated grandly here in this fort.
An under tunnel is there in the fort and that is said to go to Sri siddirameswara temple ,Bhiknur.
One of the major attraction of the fort is " THE MIRRORS BUILDING ".This building is entirely covered with mirrors.It looks so beautiful.And it is called as " ADDALA BUNGLA " by the local people.
A round big wall along with big canal covers the fort .

Peddamma temple,Ayyappa temple,Yellamma temple ,Mahankali temple are located in very near surroundings of this Domakonda fort.
